HIKING TOURS
HBK Asheville offers several different hiking tours, each carefully designed to maximize your time in the mountains. All of our hiking tours are led by a certified Blue Ridge Parkway and WNC Naturalist and include transportation to and from the meet up point at the Asheville Visitors Center in downtown Asheville. If you would prefer to meet at the trail head just give us a call and we can make arrangements with you.
Ages 6 and up, excluding snowshoe hike.
We have 6 categories of hikes: waterfalls, wild flowers (seasonal), long-range views, Blue Ridge Parkway (when open), highest peaks (when accessible) and snowshoe (seasonal). We also have combination hikes – see Full Day Hikes.
There are several different trail heads that we choose from to provide the best hiking experience we can. We use our expertise to choose trails and hikes that are best at the time you are booking.

Half Day Hikes
Our half day hikes are 4 hours long and begin at 8am, 9am and 12:30pm. Transportation from the Asheville Visitor’s Center, snacks along the way, water, and a guide are all included.
Choose: Waterfalls, wildflowers (seasonal), long range views, Blue Ridge Parkway (when open) or highest peaks (when accessible)
Price $85/per person
Full Day Hikes
Our full day hikes are 6-7 hours and begin at 9:00am. They include transportation from the Asheville Visitor’s Center, a homemade picnic lunch (sandwich, chips, fruit, cookie and water) and a guide.
The full day hike is a combination of what is available and accessible. Tours include a combination of at least 3: waterfalls, long range views, highest peaks, Blue Ridge Parkway, and wild flowers and sometimes they include them all!
Price: $150/person
3 Hour Waterfall Hike
Tours begin at 2:00pm. They include transportation from the Asheville Visitor’s Center, water, and a guide.
Price: $65/person
Fall Foliage Hike – Half and Full Day Options
Half Day Tours begin at 8am 9am and 12:30pm and are 4-4.5 hours long. They include transportation from the Asheville Visitor’s Center, water, snack and a guide.
The Full Day tour starts at 9am and is 7 hours and includes lunch, water, snack, guide and transportation from the Asheville Visitor’s Center.
We will take you to the best places to see Fall Foliage (usually late September through Mid-November)

Snowshoe Hike
Snowshoe Hikes are 5 hours long and begin at 9:00am. They include snowshoes and poles, transportation from the Asheville Visitor’s Center, hot cocoa, and a guide. (December through February)
